Medical negligence

How do I know if I have been a victim of medical negligence?
The law requires doctors, nurses, and other heath care providers to follow the generally accepted standard of care for the type of medicine that they practice. If your doctor or health care provider deviates from the generally accepted standard of care and this deviation causes you injury, you are entitled to recover damages.

How do I prove that my doctor was negligent?
In a medical malpractice case, expert testimony from other medical providers is required to prove that there was a deviation from the generally accepted standard of care.

Isn't it very difficult to win a medical malpractice case against a doctor?
Medical malpractice cases generally are very expensive to prosecute. Unfortunately, it is rarely economical to pursue a medical negligence case unless there has been disabling, permanent injury or death.
